    My name is Tracy Ann McKay (nee Bandey). I am the daughter of Peter Wallis Bandey & Heather Sandra Bandey (nee Duncan). I have an uncle, Michael John Bandey and he is married to Ann Bandey (who just recently passed away from cancer). They have three sons, David, John and Gavin Bandey. My paternal grandfather was David Wallis Bandey (a methodist minister and academic
    doctor) and he was married Florence Mary Bandey (nee Brecknock). We are the only Bandey's in South Africa.     I have just been looking at the site for the first time and see a recent communication from Tracey McKay ref South African Bandeys. My mother was Barbara Bandey and her brother was David Wallis Bandey who was Traceys grandfather. Tracey refers to Edith who was married to Thomas Bandey and lived in Truro. This is correct except that her name was Enid and not Edith.

    Derek, Chris is an uncle that my mom and I visit very briefly when we went to England in 1983. I remember him quite well as his daughter and I get on very well. He is right. Barbara was married to uncle Bernard, who married aunty Joan after Barbara's death, and they lived on a farm in Norfolk, if I remember correctly. Wow, thank-you so much.
